What Do You Want to See?

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Improvements to the LostAParent Community are a long time coming. I have not been able to spend a whole lot of time on this site due to school and my transition into what my friends call "The Real World". Now that I am settled in, I have started to draw up some plans for where I would like to take the Community.

This Community is not about me, though. It's about you. What would you like to see on this site? The sky is the limit and no idea is a bad idea.

So hit "Reply" and take a few minutes to share your ideas.

I look forward to seeing what you come up with!

Thanks,
Stu

Re: What Do You Want to See?

Stu,
LostAParent Community is very important to me, it has and continues to help me cope with my sorrow at losing my Grandmother. One thing i would like to see is a a section where inspirational songs or poems are shared. Not sure if this would have copy right issues. I often listen to a CD by Katie Melua called Piece by Piece, which are very comforting especially the title song. The words are quite beautiful, I would like to know if it would be of legally acceptable to copy them for others to share?

Sometimes taking half an hour to listen to a song such as Piece by Piece really helps me to regain my composure when I am feeling my Grans lose especially hard to bear. The words say exactly what I wish to say, would say to my dear Gran if I were able. It's New Years Eve - her birthday, she would be 98 today. This morning I put pale pink roses on her grave, it seems to little for someone I love so very much.
