Yet again another loss

Early this morning around 1 my friend called me to let me know that our friend Mandy passed away in a car accident. She was driving in the same car as a United States Marine who was drunk. He was going about 50mph and flipped the car over killing her instantly. And he has a 50/50 chance of suvival. Her other friends were behind them with another marine and saw it all happen. I've heard that it is illegal for United States Military to be out with someone who is younger than the age of 18 during the night or something like that and he should have known better. I'm just upset that she decided to get into a car with that guy after he had been drinking. So yeah I'm really feeling the loss of her because she was a terrific person who many will miss. She was the one I could talk to with out feeling like an idiot. I don't thin I've ever cried for 3 hours straight before, once the tears came it seemed like it was impossible to stop.

Shana- I'm terribly sorry to here about your loss. Friends are like family, and loosing them is just as hard. My friend Gracie passed away when we were in sixth grade. It was slightly different because she was always ill, but at the same time, I grew up with her, we were the same classes, same Brownie troop. I grew accustomed to seeing her smiling face. When I heard about her death I was devastated. It's so hard to imagine someone so young having such a short amount of time to live. Mandy sounds like she was a great friend to you, just like Gracie was to me. Its important to concentrate on the impact that she had on your life and the lives of those around you, how great of a person she was, and all the memories that you shared. Take Care.
